Hello and welcome to my blog!

I am a trained, professional musician & qualified music & singing teacher.

• Wedding soloist –  I am classically trained and sing classical or contemporary songs for wedding & civil partnership ceremonies.
• Jazz singer –  I play the piano & sing melodic jazz to create a chilled & sophisticated ambiance for dining in restaurants & hotels or at special occasions such as during champagne receptions at weddings.  I can add any or all of the following if your venue is a little larger or you want more impact from the music for your celebration:  Sax players, Guitarists (acoustic or mellow electric), Bassists (Double bass or electric), Drums.
• Bands –  I  sing with a range of bands and often call on my wide network of musician friends & colleagues to put together tailor-made bands for weddings, birthday parties, retirement celebrations etc. depending on the needs of the clients.   I can provide bands or ensembles to play everything from jazz to rock and roll, chamber music & operatic arias to pop ballads.  I love the variety of singing such a diverse range of music.
• The Jukes – Recently, I have had great fun singing & playing keyboards with pop & rock covers band, ‘The Jukes.’  We specialise in theme nights, so you can book us for a 60s night, a 70s Night, an 80s Night, a Soul Night, a Rock’n’Roll Night….. but if you can’t make up your mind or just want a great party selection for filling the dance floor we can give you a ‘live jukebox’ mixture.
• Music Tuition – I am a qualified music teacher & vocal tutor [MusB (Hons), PGCE] .  I have taught in schools, specialist Performing Arts Colleges & Music Departments around the North-west (including the University of Liverpool) for the past fourteen years whilst also running a busy private singing teaching practise.
